FAQ
Everything you need to know about playing darts online on Moneydarts.
Getting started
A standard dartboard, a set of darts, and a device with a webcam (laptop, smartphone, or tablet). You also need a stable internet connection. That is it — no special hardware required.
Yes. Creating an account is free and you receive play credits to get started. All matches use play money, not real money.
No. Moneydarts runs entirely in your web browser. Works on desktop, tablet, and mobile — Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge are all supported.
Moneydarts currently supports players in Belgium and the Netherlands. The platform is available in Dutch and English.
Matches and scoring
Currently X01 formats: 501, 301, and other starting scores. Best-of-legs and best-of-sets configurations are available. Double out and single out modes are supported.
After each turn (3 darts), you enter your total visit score (0-180). Quick-tap buttons are available for common scores. The scoreboard updates live for both players.
Yes. Create a private match and invite your friend by username. They receive a notification and can accept or decline. You can also share a direct match link.
A reconnect grace period of 60 seconds is available. If you reconnect in time, the match continues. If not, the match may be forfeited or cancelled depending on the state.
Tournaments
Tournaments use a bracket system. Register for a tournament, wait for it to fill or reach the start time, then play your matches in order. Winners advance through the bracket until a champion is crowned.
Yes. Any verified player can create a tournament. Choose the number of players (4-64), entry fee, start mode (when full or at a scheduled time), and minimum players required.
Entry fees are held in your account balance during the tournament. The winner receives the full prize pool minus the rake percentage. If the tournament is cancelled, all fees are refunded.
Yes, you can unregister before the tournament starts. Your entry fee is refunded immediately.
Fair play
Yes, for competitive matches. Both players see each other via live video during the match. This prevents score manipulation and creates a real pub darts atmosphere.
You can open a dispute after any match. Provide a description of the issue and evidence. Human moderators review the case and make a fair ruling.
Moderators review the video evidence, score history, and player reports. Rulings are final. Repeated violations can result in temporary restrictions or account suspension.
