2. What data we collect

We collect the following data when you create an account or use our platform:

• Account data: username, email address, display name, country, preferred language, account creation date.
• Match and tournament data: match history, scores, results, tournament entries, dispute records.
• Session data: login sessions, session tokens (used to keep you signed in).
• Wallet data: play credit balance and transaction history (no real financial data is stored).
• Honor and reputation data: peer ratings submitted after matches (webcam quality, fairness).
• Safety data: any reports you submit or that are submitted about your account.
• Technical data: IP address and device type collected during sign-in for security purposes.

We do not store video or audio from your webcam sessions. Video calls are handled by Daily.co — see section 5.

3. How we use your data

• To create and manage your account.
• To run matches, tournaments, and the lobby.
• To display your public profile and stats to other players.
• To send you notifications about matches and tournaments you participate in.
• To enforce our fair play rules and investigate disputes.
• To improve the platform using aggregated, anonymised analytics.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process your personal data on the basis of contract performance (to provide you with the platform services you signed up for) and legitimate interest (platform security, fraud prevention, fair play enforcement). Where we use analytics, we rely on your consent as given via the cookie banner.

5. Third-party services

• Daily.co — provides live video call infrastructure for matches. When you join a match video call, you connect directly to Daily.co servers. Their privacy policy applies to video data.
• Google Analytics — used to understand how visitors use our public pages (only with your consent).
• Google AdSense — used to display ads on our public pages (only with your consent).

6. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Match and tournament history is retained indefinitely as part of the platform record. If you request account deletion, we remove your personal identifiers within 30 days. Some anonymised match records may be retained for platform statistics.

7. Your rights

Under applicable data protection law (including GDPR for EU residents), you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and personal data.
• Object to or restrict certain types of processing.
• Withdraw consent (e.g. for analytics cookies) at any time.

8. Security

Passwords are stored as secure hashes. Sessions use cryptographically signed tokens. All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS. We review our security practices regularly.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
